PCV filter/hose help NEEDED
89lx5sp. Is the PCV valve in the PCV hose? How do you get the hose off of the PCV valve? Hard pulling, lubrication? Does the PCV valve screw out then? I've seen the diagram. So many questions!!

It depends on what engine you have too. But usually on the d15's it's screwed in the intake manifold right below the big black air box that says DPFI on it. Really all you do is push down the clamps on the hose, pull the hose off, then unscrew the pcv it self from the intake manifold. Replace it with a new one in the opposite order. Not hard at all.
Also if you have an si with the d16 in it, it just pulls right out rather than screwing out.
