Re: gt-s steering problems

What years is it?

I`m gussing that the bush`s are going on the suspension arms. depending on year, they are very expensive to replace.

It's a 2000 GT-S.

Re: gt-s steering problems

Ahhh yes, must learn to use that user profile thingy, keep forgeting. I doubt it will be your bush`s then unless its been abused alot in the past or run over olts of pot holes, thats what finished the bush`s off in my car but then again my cars 10 years old.
A simple test you can do is to try to roll the wheel back and forth, if the wheel moves forward (say about 5mm+) and the rest of the car dosnt then its either the bush`s on the suspension (lower arms) or the track rod ends could be going (a common problem on all cars and an easy fix.)

This reminds me of the old civic i rode on...
it was fine until one day i did a 4 wheel drift in da rain and crash into the curb.

since then on my steering is loose
My guess could be the steering rod or something is loose...or something about the steering tie rod ends.
