No spark

I checked power to the coil and its hot. But I am getting no spark from the coil. Can anyone help me out with what to check. Its a 92 3 cyllinder metro. Thanks

Could be as simple as a coil gone bad.

But, I would first take off your distributor cap and crank the engine to see if the rotor turns. Turning is good, not turning indicates a broken timing belt.

Dude, I just went through the whole ignition rigumarole. Here's what I learned. They coil wires resistance should be 3.0k-6.7k ohms per foot. It just so happens that the cable is about a foot so check if that might be your problem.

Check your coil too. Measure the resistance of the primarys (between the 2 small leads) 1.08-1.32 ohms and check the secondary (from the 1 small to the coil output) 22.1k-29.9k

If you don't have a multimeter, an auto parts store can test it for you as well. The coils are pretty pricey too. One of the guys here recommended the MSD Blaster SS. Auto zone was the cheapest I found.
