Calling In Back up
Im Trying to Decide. Racking my brain. i want the SQ and supreme xmax XBL^2 but im not in a financial position to buy a brahma and an amp to power it and an altinator. So Tempest came to mind. Great woofer but i am looking for more. ahhh... the Koda comes to mind. But i have room for a 15" and i want a 15". So... being the lazy ass I am what do you all think? Or has adire finally got off their ass and started making Koda 12's and 15's. or are they waiting untill the warehouse move is complete? also, now that i think of it a BX1500D wont be needed.
But is the $150 worth the extra 22mm +- of xmax? the koda 15 will have more surface area than the brahma so that will help make up the lost volume. Eventually there will be a brahma in there. but that after my financial situation is straightened out. and any of these substages will need a front stage. This truck just caused me 101 headaches. but it is worth it. i've already fallen in love. You can't run a Brahma and a nine.1? Isn't that about $700 - $800? I don't think it requires an electrical upgrade either.

NINe.1 $315 + Hard to find yes Mid 700's. But the 9.1 will suck too many amps from my poor poor altinator. my head unit already dims when i turn on my brights, fog lights, and have the radio playing at any decent level. and so far the only altinators i can find that are bolt for bolt replacement are another 65a altinator and a 240a altinator. i dont need 240a and 65 obviously isnt enough. i may even want to go ahead and replace the altinator with a Koda and round abouts 500w amp.

Get your alt rebuilt at a higher amp. I know a place down here where I can do that. I don't have to replace the entire mount and everything.

yea I was juss gunna say get an avalanche if u can afford it if not go for an atlas..... nine.1>bx1500d any day...... and I don't know where u got that it was hard to get nine.1's ED always has them in stock that I know of....... the one's I've ordered was here w/i a week.

really? a friend of mine orderend one and they said they would be here in 3-5weeks. after looking over these ascendant woofers i may end up with one of these. how loud are these compared to the brahma? also, my bookmark for ED's web site went dead, can someone give me a new link?

700 watts for what? And Dan the man wiggins once stated he could get the exact same output from a brahma with only 1 magnet slug..... brahma prolly has a little better SPL but I'm sure this beast is a WANGER!!!!!!
