This is a strange question.
I use 'homemade' twisted-pair speaker wire made by taking 2 strands of wire (14 gauge in my case, 1 red and 1 black) and tying one end off to a post and puting the other end in a drill to form a twisted pair (then I cut off the lengths to fit my need). It looks really cool, but I'm wondering if maybe having the wires twisted like that could be a problem with the system's performance. Anyone know? Thanks again. |

Re: twisted speaker wire... does it make a diff?
Twisted pair wire is supposed to be more resistant to interference. I would be carful not to twist it too tight with that drill, you may stress the wire and cause it to break, but I dont think you'll have any problems using it.
