Push Rods

My 98 sonoma started idleing rough after it got hot on me. I could hear the valves. I was able to get it cooled down. It collapsed a lifter and bent a couple of push rods in the front right cylinder (not sure of the cylinder number). I changed the lifter and push rods. One of the new push rods had a slight bend in it. I used anyway (needed the truck for work the next morning) It still idles a little rough, and I was wondering if there is a tolerance for a bend in a push rod. I can't hear any valves rattling, but am wondering if a burnt exhaust valve could cause or is it likely to be the push rod? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
