Engine from VIN
Hey all I ran a carfax and it shows up as my engine being a....
2.8L V6 MFI HO OHV now I know what the 2.8l v6 MFI HO part of it is, but what the hell is the OHV part I have never heard of that before? Anyone know? Thanks

Over Head Valve is what it means. Research OHV vs SOHC (Single over head cam) vs DOHC (Dual Over Head Cam) and that will give you a good start on what it is and how it works. sorry I can't give you more info

Over Head Valve** ( I am pretty sure) also www.dictionary.com not being sarcastic I use that place ALL THE TIME.

Yah I know what it is now, didn't know it stood for Over head valve before, I thought it was another option, this used to be a cop car so I was all excited :P
