audio/Battery Question?

Ok so i just bought a new Optima red top battery for my car. MY question is if i go to a car show n i shut my car off n turn on my tv's,audio,dvd player, n let it run for couple of hours more then likely my battery will die? whats the best way to get around this? add an another battery?

you will need a dedicated stereo battery and a starter battery that are seperated electrically by an isolator of dome type

an optima red top is not a fix-it battery. It has its limitation and you cannot tell how long the battery will last without knowing how much current it's using. EVen so, you cannot tell because there are lots of variables that are in affect.

just let your car run or get a HELLA lot more batteries. lotta bad things can happed like amps frying from low current (some amps will some are fine) alternator over working itself trying to recharge a weak system and killing the battery from fully cycling it too many times.
