93 Grand Cherokee Electrical problems ???

I have several problems with my 93 Grand Cherokee limited. 143,000 miles.

1.) When starting my Jeep it struggles for a bit until it turns on its like if its loosing power.

2.) The lower instrument panel were the date and time appears is not working correctly. Sometimes is on and others its just a black screen with nothing showing no numbers no letters.

3.) When connecting the battery to the terminals alot of sparks start coming out. Its like if its grounding out to something. I checked my sound system and alarm and everything appears to work fine.

4.) The heater stays on. I tried turning it off and nothing would happend. When starting the Jeep the AC box says ER for error but then it changes to 70.

Please Help me.
