speaking of which, i was "given," i guess is the term, my first car... an 87 chrysler lebaron at a yardsale, yes, a yardsale. there were clothes, furniture, old records, and oh yeah, a car in the grass for 700 bucks. it ran on 3 cylinders, had no suspension, motormounts, tires... etc. i fixed those things, rebuilt the head and sold it for 1300 two years later. then saved up and bought my 86 turbo z for 3k. i have to say, that lebaron was my inspiration to never drive a car like that again, and if it werent for that car, i might not be interested in cars now. after the papa johns pizza guy totalled my z, i sold it for 1k and used the remaining insurance money to buy my 240, so i cant complain, its been easy for me. the only thing that sucks is that my dad loved my z, and i wanted to keep it for as long a possible because of that. he passed about a year after i bought it, and the only thing i can say is that the pizza guy was lucky of that.
