Seat warmers in Pontiac GTP

I've got a 98 GTP. I bought the thing in the summer, so I didn't find anything wrong with the seat warmers until winter rolled around.

Actually, it isn't the warmers themselves that are a problem. It is the console that the seat-warming button is supposed to be housed in--its no longer there. When I went to turn the warmers on for the first time, the button, the wires, and the console fell straight down into the depths of the car. Let me tell you what a joyous feeling THAT was. I now have a gaping hole in front of my shifter with the seat warming button (which managed to get dug out) hanging out of it. Not very pretty.

Now where can I find a new console for the button? I'm guessing its a pretty obscure little piece of plastic to be on the hunt for. Any ideas?

Re: Seat warmers in Pontiac GTP

About once a week there is one listed on Ebay. Find one of the dealers that are listing all the parts from one car. Email them, and ask them if they sold theirs yet.
Sometimes some dummy bids it way up. Keep and eye out.

This might actually be an excellent opportunity to upgrade to a dual system. Click on "products" then "Dual Seat Heater." I've been thinking about it myself, but no one else gets in my car.
