Hood release latch broken
Hey all,
I have a 1996 JGC Laredo V8 and I went to use the hood release latch and 'bam' it popped off, now I can't seem to get the thing to work and to open? Any ideas as to how make it work, if I need to get another part, how much this will run to fix? Also, what is this part actually called? -Anthony

Do you mean the latch on the inside of the dash or the under hood latch? If the dash latch is broken you might be able to get a pair of vise grip pliers and pull on the cable to open it. Ive had to do this before with broken release levers.
