This is typical of a dead battery. How sure are you that the battery is ok?

Next check the battery cables.

I also suggest checking the cables. I live in a place where they salt the roads in the winter and about a year ago one of the connections on my starter got corroded. While cleaning that up, I also cleaned up the battery terminals. There was not a lot of buildup, but enough to merit my attention.

Re: Starting Problem...just click

One day I went to start my Intrigue to go to church to find out that when I turned the key all I got was a click then all of my lights died. The battery was fine. The problem was were the battery cable connects to the main fuse block under the hood. This would be where you are suppose to put the positive side of a jumper cable to jump the vehicle. Once I unbolted the cables, cleaned up the connection with electrical cleaner, and bolted it all back together the car has not had a problem since. Also before I did this my headlights would sometimes flicker while driving. After cleaning the connection I have not had that problem either.

Good Luck.

Bad Starter. Bad starters are often misdiagnosed as a bad battery.
