1999 SW1 Wagon opinions
Hey I'm a newbie around here and I'm looking for some opinions on a Saturn wagon. I have never owned a Saturn before, but i have known two people who have and they really liked them. I must admit buying an american car makes me shudder a bit, but I'm a poor college student looking for a cheap reliable car that will last me the 2 years I have left to finish school! There is a 1999 SW1 wagon for sale here $4999, and has about 72k on the mileage. This car sounds pretty good to me, has a clean car fax, all dealer serviced and is about the right price. I guess what I'm looking for are opinions good or bad about this wagon. Any problems I may encounter in the future, do you love it or hate it, etc. etc.
Thanks in advance!! |

Re: 1999 SW1 Wagon opinions
as a tire mechanic i've driven all kinds of cars.. a lot of wagons too.. its a nice riding wagon, a smooth ride.. it will definately last more than two years with 72k on it. going for the sw1 or the sw2 is a total prefrence there's a 25 or so horsepower difference but if your just using it as a daily driver its an awsome motor. I drive a single cam saturn myself and i've had it for 3 years and never hadd a problem with it and im at 156K on it. Overall your getting an awsome deal fo 5grand! Good Luck!

Re: 1999 SW1 Wagon opinions
Update: Well it seems every Saturn wagon in Phoenix was sold yesterday including the above mentioned....except for one that is, and I think its an even better deal! I'm the proud new owner of a 1997 SW2 wagon...only 54K miles and I walked away with it for $4600! I'm so happy!
