99 civic lx header..
Can I put a aftermarket header and CC on a 99 civic lx, or do I have to buy a header with the CC in the header ? I was told I couldn't, don't remember why, but I do remember something about the O2 senor and the check engine light always being on. Anyone have any info on this?

Im assuming CC stands for catalytic converter. just get a header with an o2 bung in it. your stock cat will be fine.

yes, you can install any d series header and you will have to replace the cat converter. you'll want to make sure there is an o2 sensor bung before and after the cc otherwise yes, you will get a cel. also, the exhaust might not bolt right up so it may need some exhaust shop work(cutting/welding)
