That is weird. No, I'm in Las Vegas. And the seriousness of the leak problem depends on how much oil your loosing. Check your oil level and see whats up. It really isnt a big deal to fix. It's just very time consuming. The front one is relatively easy. The back one, you have to move alot of stuff out of the way to get to it. You basically cant even see the back one until you get all the hoses and brackets out of there. And when I did mine I went ahead and changed spark plugs also. That was alot easier with all the junk out of the way. You can get the gaskets at any auto parts store under $20.

Re: SuperCharger Oil question

Does anyone have an idea on what it costs to get a case learn done at the dealer?

Re: SuperCharger Oil question

Chris, iunno your situation, but i do know that if you have ANYONE that is a buddy of yours that does any work on cars, or is a mechanic, chances are they have a TECH II scanner module and can do it. I know a couple people that have em. Fuck a dealership, i can give you a numerical value, but i know it is gunna be way to much. since they cahrge 75-100 for a full computer diagnostics on your car, im guessing a CASE learn would be anywhere from 20-50$, like i said, i have no idea. juss guestimating

Re: SuperCharger Oil question

Guy,
A dealer won't do it. As a matter of fact, If you take a reprogramed PCM (in your car) to them, they will reprogram back to stock.
The new Snap-On will also do it. Cass had an idea, I know it doesn't happen too many times. He said try some body shops. They have to be able to do it.
The guy that works on my car bought the new Snap-on when he found out how easy it was. He charged me $30.00. Gas mileage went up by 3 MPG.
Good luck

Re: SuperCharger Oil question

Kid, I have a 97 GTP, just got a new INTENSE PCM, i swapped the KR module out of my stock PCM into the INTENSE, i read a bunch of places that a CASE Learn is not required for a 97 GP. But im wondering if it would help me out at all. Should i still get one done. My buddy has a Snap-On scanner, dont know the model or how updated it is, prolly can do a CASE learn. woulldn't cost me shit. Should i do this?

Re: SuperCharger Oil question

~Larry~
[I've never heard of a problem with those grears, but we do have a problem with the rattling of a bad SC coupler]

Where can someone purchase the SC coupler? I have a 1994 Buick Park Ave Ultra that has a SC that rattles. I have looked all over for info on bearings and couplers but have come up empty so far. Any info would be appreciated. Thx.
