Finished: BMW M635 CSI (Enthusiast)

As I am currently in between jobs I have some time for modelling
So here's my next model: A Fujimi Enthusiast series kit. Oh how I love them! Still three to go.

IMO the most easy Fujimi Enthusiast kit so far, everything fitted quite well.
Had some troubles with painting the body (Thank you oven cleaner) but it's allright now.
I didn't polish it because I wanted it to look like it's been outside for a few years with little flat silverish look.

What do you guys think?

(Sorry for the pictures, maybe I'll make some better later on.)

Re: Finished: BMW M635 CSI (Enthusiast)

looking really pretty!

A little suggestion for your next model => panellines with some diluted smoke paint, it will surely change the overall appearance, and I d have done a small wash on the backlight of this car too, but that 's just small nitpicking, I like this model, especially the nice engine, good job on a not quite that easy kit (since it 's enthusiast)

Thnx for your comments. I will try it for the next kit, but I'm not too keen on panel lines as it gives a rather exaggerated look. But as I never tried it: why not!

Excellent build.

I reckon that Fujimi's Enthusiast range are their best kits. I've recently acquired their Ferrari Dino kit from this range. Can't wait to start that one.

I get what you re saying, but you might want to do this with just some darker shade of your original paint in the panellines, or as I do, it's just pretty realistic IMHO

It does look nice - I have an old tamiya version of this car which I am looking forward to customising somewhat!

Not sure what a "wash" over the rear lights means?

I forgot to paint the silver lining around the rear lights. I guess that's what bigfrit means.

Very nice and clean. Tell me, does this one have the same fit as other Fujimi enthusiast models?
