Help! Cold Weather Electrical Problems

Does anyone have experience with this?
I have a 99 Venture. Recently, a wave of sub 10 deg weather. My airbag light stays on.
Also, my drivers side door ONLY locks when the car is left running, and I open and then close the door, say to bring in a garbage can. I can open the sliding door on the drivers side and reach in to open the door, but its happened a couple of times. Initially I though I accidentally hit the manual lock button, but after a couple of times, its strange.
I had programed my doors to lock when I shift out of Park, and to unlock when I put it back in Park.

Should I just wait till the weather warms up? Or is there something else to it?

Thank you.

locks

I have a 98 Venture and I have noticed that it will lock itself sometimes when I get out and leave it running. Temperature not a factor. A friend has a 2000 Venture and he carries an extra set of keys in case he gets locked out AGAIN!! An auto start is handy for this as once you stop somewhere and want to leave it running, press the button and take keys with you . As for the airbag light, check with mechanic or have your comp. codes checked. Never had that yet!!

Re: Help! Cold Weather Electrical Problems

My airbag light has come on also and stayed on. When I asked the dealer about it he told me to check under the seat were the wires are and make sure they didn't get kicked loose. I did look under the seat on the drivers side and played with the wires a little and check the connections and the light went out. Don't know if that will help.
