polaris 4 wheeler, gas in starter????

if anyone has any information, my 99 polaris 300 xpress four wheeler with the starter on the bottom of the engine was full of gas, it is a 2 stroke???

this site says it's a 2-stroke.

either way the starter should not get gas in it. Check for a leak on the flywheel side crank bearing seal.

I know you posted this awhile ago but your problem is your needle and seat. The gas drips down and runs down the motor and into the starter. The gas will go right through the two rubber orings on the starter. Any other questions let me know I'm a certified polaris mech.
