Who knows the Rear Differential Lock System 2004 Tacoma?????
The 2004 Tacoma only locks the rear differential when the transfer case is in 4x low. This could be for liability purposes only, and not the limits of the mechanism. If a person does not know to push in clutch when the rear end comes around on ice type of thing... but I grew up knowing how to regain the control with a positraction or limited slip on ice.
So I would like to have a posi at moderate speeds on ice or snow. Does anyone have a description, or better yet images or a link to images of the rear yoke apart? Any comments are welcome as well. Thanks, Lonn |
