Hey I Have A 99 Dodge Durango And I Live In Boston And Yesterday We Got Hit With A Big Blizzard. I Drove My Suv Around Town And It Worked Perfectly Fine. Temperatures Are Really Down And With The Wind Chill Is Even Colder. When I Tried Starting It Today, It Would Try To Start But Is Felt Like It Didint Get Enough Spark To Start It. So I Tried To Jump Start It But Still It Would Get Enough Spark Or Like It Was Lacking Energy Or Something To Start It. Maybe Is The Cold Or Something Else. Anybody Know??

Re: Cant Start (cold Maybe)
Probably just a weak battery, made worse by the cold. It's also not unusual to still have difficulty jumpstarting if you don't make good connections and the battery is weak.
However, if you have a fairly new battery, try pulling the battery terminal connections, cleaning them up, and trying again. If still no-go, then you're right, you've gotta look elsewhere....bad plugs, bad plug wires, weak coil, etc. Good luck Dave |
