Alarm
I have a 1995 s-10 blazer and am wondering how to take the alarm out of passive mode.

Huh? My 1995 didn't have a alarm installed from the factory?

The alarm brain and remote have the GM logo all over them.

That's not an alarm (no factory alarms for the 95's) That is a keyless entry unit...

Those are still aftermarket, they are just made to go into gm vehicles easier...

Yep. You are correct. They contracted 1st with Code Alarm to make the product then later with DEI but now I have no idea who they are using or if they are using anyone.
