I recently purchased a 2002 F-150 XLT Sport and I have always been curious as to whether putting duel exhaust on the truck will enhance the performance, worsen the gas mileage, or is just for the sound? And I have no clue yet on how much it would cost. Any info would be appreciated.

Re: Are pipes better or worse for truck?
In theory, adding duel exhaust will increase your performance and gas milage. The sound is just kind of a bonus.
