Don't waste your money. There is no proof of any increase in performance with that device. If you find some dyno results that back up their claim from an independent person, then I'm a believer. Otherwise forget it.

Re: throttle body spacer...

If you have 50 dollars to throw away, buy a new air filter and plugs. You will get something for your money that way.

Tacoma man - no, they don't work.

I will be the first person to change my opinion if I ever see dynamometer data that shows otherwise.

Did some research on this myself. I saw no proof these worked and a few angry customer postings saying it was a waste of money. I bought a free flow air filter instead which did ioncrease my HP a bit. I wanted a air Ram but didn't want to spend the money yet.

The advice from others is sound. Get new plugs, etc & a better high performance air filter.

Re: throttle body spacer...

For what its worth, here's my experience with a throttle body spacer and air intake system from Airaid. There were 2 problems with the t/b kit: 1) One of the 4 longer bolts for mounting the t/b plate was not a metric bolt. It was a 5/16" std. thread. (I had a hard time finding a correct 90mm length bolt on the week end. I ended up making one from a junk yard bolt. ) 2) The airaid vacuum line bracket bolt hole would not line up. I emailed airaid and realtruck.com and got no response from either party. Long story short, I did get a small increase in mpg. and it does feel like I got better throttle response. I should have timed it down the 1/4 mile before and after the installation.
