Don't Buy Weapon-R Intakes
So here's my story. At first I ACTUALLY considered installing it myself on my 04 eco. But after deciding I didn't have the balls, I took it to a performance shop.
Problem #1. They sent the wrong color, I ordered red, they sent polished. To rectify the situation, they sent me gay seat belt pads. Woopie. Problem #2. Woops, they sent a wrong rubber adapter thing, they were supposed to send a step-down, but they sent an even one. The guy at the specialty store had an extra one though. Yay... everythings ALL nice and hooked up now. Go ME! But wait... Problem #3. Oopsy! The hood doesn't close! But wait, isn't this intake made SPECIFICALLY for my model? Yes, so, why would this not fit? ITS A P.O.S.! THATS WHY! So now they had to cut down one rubber adapter, twist the pipe just so (not exactly the way it was intended), and one of the rubber adapters still touches the roof of the car. Had I attempted this myself I would have had no chance. So all in all I wound up paying 120 bucks for an install that should have taken half the time and been half the price. Bottom line, go with AEM, you get what you pay for. Even if the difference is only 20 bucks...
