lets say you were married, and had kids. your in your mid 30s, and you make average income. what kinda car or truck do you think you would own? i think id be driving a truck, like the newer toyota tacoma ext cab/crew cab 4X4, or a ford ranger.

Minivan...station wagon

Been there done that. Now the kids are all grown. My son drives MY freaking dream cars.

It is worth giving up the cool cars while the kids are young. They don't stay young long....I actually miss the soccer trips in the wagons.

(but if I was doing it again...I might try for a Stagea)

I dunno. I guess some sort of small car, like a camry or something? All I know is I'd never by an SUV, Minivan or Station Wagon. Hell if I somehow wound up pregnant, I'd still keep my car I have now. I can't imagine not having a fun car.

Well I am married and have kids, my second just recently. I also just bought a 01 x-cab silverado 4x4. I did have a sweet 93 silverado reg. cab that was nice, all leather, 5.7, spent alot on rims, and totally decked it out. Also had a 86 Camaro that had a 383 stroker, that was pushing roughly 600 hp at the rear wheels. AND a 01 Ninja 250R (as you can tell beginer) and sold it all but the bike and will soon be selling the bike. YEP I had it all, but oh well, I'm happy...... at least my wife tells me I am.

I think that if I had a family, I would get any subaru wagon. The Legacy wagon would be my top pick, then maybe the outback and finally the wrx.

On the other hand...I think would actually do is to get a 92-95ish Honda Civic LX. Then with the left over money I'll import my Skyline from Japan.

I want a Buick Roadmaster in decent condition. Might take some searching but damnit, you can't beat a boat with nice 350 in it.

I love float boats.

However, I'd probably look for a good used Jag X-Type wagon. Style, space, and comfort Failing that, likely a 99 Benz E300DT.

I'd still drive my commodore. 5 seater, it's awesome!

My mum and dad both had one when I was growing up, heaps of room, and they're built like a truck!

I fit all of the criteria above; I drive a Pontiac Bonneville. It's reliable, clean, old, roomy, and comfortable. I'd love a WRX though!!

I dunno...not an SUV, minivan or truck...I really dont like to park them. Prolly something small, but big? Make sense? Fast but safe...hmmm I dunno...I guess I'll just have to look into it.
