Replacing '94 Grand Cherokee Door wiring harness.
I was wondering if anyone has replaced the driver's door wiring harness on a 93-5 Grand Cherokee, the one that goes through the door jamb. Jeep makes a replacement harness, but I'm wondering how much work is involved. According to the parts guy the harness is about a foot long, so I'm not sure if all the wires are simply plugged in on both ends. Mine has been hacked up pretty well by the previous owner's repair person so I'm not sure if this would be the best route to go.
Any advice is appreciated. |

Re: Replacing '94 Grand Cherokee Door wiring harness.
Replacement harnesses in the automotive world generally have a connector to plug into an existing harness.
The worst part will be getting the old harness out and the new one re-routed. Wiring jobs I've done are either really really easy or really really shippy to do. JD |

Re: Replacing '94 Grand Cherokee Door wiring harness.
its a jumper harness that goes from the door to the inside of the car right inside the kick panel.it bolts together at the door and it just plugs in on the inside
