Could someone tell me what wire you have to disconnect and what deg. to set the timming on a 1994 silverado with a 5.7l. My truck was wrecked and when they replaced shroud they didn't replace the sticker. I thought I would be smart and buy a manual but when I looked in it it said to refer to sticker. So if someone has one of these stickeckes on there truck could you tell me what is says.
Thanks, Don |

Re: 1994 silverado timing
It should be under the plastic cover on the firewall or possibly behind the glovebax

Re: 1994 silverado timing
The timing advance is a single, brown wire that is connected by a plastic two-piece clip. It is located behind a black plastic cover on the passenger side firewall, just above the A\C tank. I simply moved the wire/clip outside of the plastic cover so it is much more accessible when doing timing adjustments.
