I have a 1968 El Camino with 4 wheel drum brakes. I was wondering if anybody heard of using the front disk brakes from a 1991 Blazer 4 wheel drive disk brake setup and if it would mount right to my El camino.
Thanks!!!!

Re: El Camino drum brakes to s10 disk brakes
I've never heard of that specifically, but people switch parts all the time. You may have to cut and weld some stuff, and you will have to put a new master cylinder on that has capacity for the extra brake fluid you will need. If you don't put a new master cylinder on, you should check and fill EVERY time you drive it. You definately don't want the front brakes going out.
