Title question

A year and a half ago I bought a 89 olds from my brother in laws brother in another city from where I live. He was supposed to send me the title signed so that I could transfer it where I live. Same state(FL) anyways I still have not gotten the title only a unnotirized bill of sale with his signature. Is there anyway I can get a title? It is now just sitting in my yard. I want to sell it. Any help would be appreciated.

go to the DMV and tell them the situation and you'll have to apply for a lost title, takes a while though. Took one of my friends 2 months to get one he applied for.
