96 Caravan wipers inop
I'm working on this 96 caravan with no wiper operation. The only way to get them to work is by pushing the washer button. I replaced the whole switch as the dealer told me of great failure in these switches and he had it in stock. It didn't fix the problem. Both relays work. I can't find any damaged wiring yet. Does the body control ecu have anything to do with this?

The BCM does have control over the wipers.
Try resetting it by removing the battery cable for 30 seconds.
