nothing has to be removed to replace the belt.
You just put a rachet on the tensioner pulley. Put the rachet on the actual pully and spring it back so you can remove the belt. Then pull it back when you install the new one.

I put a new belt on this morning and no sqeak. Will see what tomorrow morning brings. Thanks to all who replied.
