heater core

how hard is heater core to change

It is a pain in the butt to change. You have to remove the center console to get to it.Under neath the car,remove the heater hoses.If the clamps are the factory ones,there is a pair of pliers called hose clamp pliers that make the clamps easier to remove. A 1/4'' air ratchet does make the job go faster to get to the plastic cover holding the heater core and getting to it.The plastic cover should have about 6 7/32'' headed screws holding it together.Engineer's fault for this design
