thermostat

where is the thermostat located on the 75' eldorado w/ the 500 cu. in. engine i can't find it

On these blocks the thermostat is at the end of the upper radiator hose where it goes into the block (or intake manifold, I can't remember).

Follow your nose (er, um, hose) and that's where it is. You probably need to loosen the AC compressor, DON'T disconnect the lines, just loosen the belts, then remove the mounting screws so you can move it out of the way.
