isnt the GST the FWD turbo model? The GSX is the awd turbo.

oh and IMO dont get the spyder, convertibles are cool but think what would happen if u would flip over, when it rains, if theres a malfunction like someone juz said, and i think the gst pulls better than the gsx if its properly tuned, but isnt the engine on '94 models USDM? What i mean is that japan doesnt make the motor.

i dont know if its spyder? but i know its the FWD turbo one, the AWD one is the GSX!

its freaking spyder man. a GST already weights 3000 lbs, so with the rage top its goin to weight around 3200 lbs. the car is freaking pig. not to mention that its chassis's ridgity has been severely compromised by having its roof choped off. this is not a S2K or a MR2 t-top where it has tons of chassis re enforcement. its a DSM.
if it was a hardtop GS-T i would consider. but Eclipses are horrible. they have very awkward driving position, and you can't see out of them for shit. also stock GS-T's are slow. esp ones that weights 200 lbs more then standard ones. i would just turbo my S13 and call it quits. a turboed 240 has waay more presence then a rag top DSM. or most DSM's in general.

and for a final notion...the gst is the FWD...and TatII pretty much said it all...i would consider an AWD but...considering the weight, slowness, and it being FWD i personally think the car sucks (i can say that legitly becuase ive driven one for months at a time)

Ok so i talked hime down to $6000.00 actually my sister did for me
so i went and took out a loan. One of my friends was looking for somthing as a daily driver that would be cheaper on gas than his mustang cobra so i sold him my mustang for $2500 but i had no choice but to have another car because my s13 has no engine or transmission right now( Making way for my sr20 witch will be in on the 19th) so i won both ways i am just gonna drive the eclipse as a daily driver......FOR NOW AT LEAST

Uhhhh...okay...good luck with the spyder...but seriously, I think you should use it as a daily driver and save up some money for mods for the 240. I would agree with most of these posts, though. The Eclipse is FWD and it just plain sucks. It's a chick car really, except for MAYBE the GSX. Eclipses just kinda suck...

Yeah, good choice man, that's exaclt what I would have done, get a daily driver to keep your S13 in good shape.
