1995 Cirrus Oil Light Problem

My oil light kept coming on when I made a stop and would go off when I accelerated. I had the oil checked and it was full. Now the light comes on and stays on and I checked the oil again and it is fine.

I just wanted to know if I will damage my car by driving it for the next two days until I am off from work and can go get an oil change. Also, I read where someone else was having this problem and it was a belt. About how much does this belt cost?

Thank you in advance for any information anyone can give me!

*** Just a follow up on your post, did you find out what caused your oil light problem ?
My wife's car is doing the same thing, check the oil & the level is okay, no leaks under the car either.
It is a 95 Cirrus also. [ 2.5 liter engine ]
