Talking 1987 Honda Prelude engines stalls at high rpms

Hello,
Thanks everyone for your help in advance, I just bought a 1987 Honda Prelude with dual carbs, and about 4000 rpms it it falls on its face, also doesn't idle. Does anyone have the directions for syncing the carbs? or any ideals... email me at my personal address too. it is not an Si model and i dont know what size the motor is, I think it's a 1.7, not that I dont know what I'm doing I just havent looked yet.
thanks,
Jason

Re: 1987 Honda Prelude engines stalls at high rpms

sounds like a bottom end problem to me, that means its the bottom half of your block, quite expensive and not practical to rebuild with a car like that. maybe rod N bearings, or crankshaft problems. i definately would not have bought a car that wont rev past 4k.
its most likely either piston rods n bearings or crankshaft problems
