Headlight issue answered!!!!!
My headlight on the passenger side would work off and on. I replaced the bulb but the problem continued. So I took my Jeep to the dealer. The dealer just called me back and they found the problem. Inside of the driver side kick panel down by your feet there are wires that run from a six was connector (i assume the six way connector controls the headlights, blinkers, brights, fogs, etc), which is also controlled by the light switch. Well two wires didn't have a connection and had become seperated at times but would touch at other times, which explains why the passenger headlight would work some time and some times not. They had to resoder them, or weld them back together. The whole repair including tax was $280. They said it took just 3 hours to locate the problem (Are they telling the truth?) I asked them if this was caused by wear and they said no, that someone had to have been messing around in there. Now I bought the jeep used a year ago and this just started occuring in December. The whole situation is strange to me. Hope this helps some people.
