Over the xmas holiday I went to SC and after a week returned. My truck wouldn't start, although it gave a pretty good attempt. Only has 34000 miles. I tried finding something in this forum and only found; put new spark plugs with a tsp of oil in first. DIDN'T WORK. And if not, the compression was messed up. WRONG! I called the service manager at the dealership I bought from and he said to check the distributor cap and rotor ( I THOUGHT THESE WERE ELECTRONIC NOW--- AGAIN WRONG) to dry distributor and all. Well it turns out with old spark plugs, drying and checking rotor ( IT NEEDS REPLACED). I cleaned the rotor because the contact was burnt. IT WORKS NOW. Pain in ____ to get to because its wedged between the engine and firewall. Hope this helps someone.
