Interior Painting help

I have a 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The interior is an ugly grey and faded black color. I have been wanting to repaint everything (dash, panels, steering wheel collum, trim, etc.). I have read on lots of websites and forums about how to do it and they are all different. I want to do a good job on it so im looking for more advice and hopefully from an experienced person. I'm a little short on cash at the moment so i dont want to do anything expensive. Im going for a glossy Satin Black for everything cept for a select few peices on dash and panels. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to better improve what i already know (such as improvements for taping, cleaning, & painting). I would also appreciate some tips on how to paint around the letters & numbers on all the buttons & switches.

Dye bombing will help out for restoring the interior instead of paint. Vinyl dyes are made to bleed into the vinyl permanently so long as the vinyl is clean and dye bombing does not require sanding. I would recomend you look very closely at your switches and buttons they usually are removable from there outer housings and that would be the way to go to make it look natural. I do this for a living if you wanted to know. SORRY FOR NOT USING GREAT GRAMMER as this was a 1 minute suggestion.

I live in Edmonton Alberta and I work in Leduc Alberta 20 minutes south of edmonton on highway 2 , youll find the Edmonton Air Port exit ramp turn left on the exit ramp till you hit a set of lights then turn right drive straight for 2 miles and DKFORD is on the left.
