help! cannot reset eclipse deck!

i have an eclipse stereo, and one weekend my battery went dead in my car (completly dead). once i charged the battery and got it started, my stereo could not do anything but blink a few numbers over and over. my small reset button did not work, the power button will not work, i can't get it to do anything but accept a cd and reject a cd. even though it accepts cds it will not play them. i held down my reset button, held down my power button, held down every button on my cd player in every combination i could think of. if anyone has any knowlege on how to fix this problem, please let me know. thanks

you have to find the very first cd you ever put in that deck, and put it back in there to unlock it, I believe. Look it up in your owners manual.

they told me to get out the directions to the head unit because i got mine new and it took me through it all i dont have my car it is at a shop right now gettin a paint job

hey if you find out how to reset the deck let me know! no one in my town sells or services them anymore. and yes i've tried all the guessing at which button combos go with the reset button
