I had a similar situation. Went to a local shop called Hoopers and asked them how much it would be for a 3 cf ported and tuned to 28hz and they laughed and said nobody tunes that low and that most tune to about 50 or something. I was like, yeah with the shitty speakers you sell you would and I walked out.

Like sr20 said... that was low. I cant afford new subs right now which is the only reason I have 2 Xplods... At one time they DID bump (Im not saying they bumped like brahmas or anything so dont even start on that shit, but they got me "heard around the block" and if you dont believe me I dont care) but that was before they were over 2 years old. I will amit that they really do suck NOW.


Oh and, you know youre addicted to car audio when you get mad that people tell jokes in the car audio forum. and when you have to randomly dis on other peoples systems, like an asshole.

hmmm. ya, you right, it was low. now that i look at it. My bad. So you actually took the trip huh bumpin, how did that go? I couldnt drive that long without puttin in my silencer in my exhaust, shits unbearable at cruising speeds

I drove out to let rick check out my in process not good sounding system and check out his set up it wasn't too bad of a trip tho only bout 45 minutes one way...... we needa have a AF.com car audio meet I know we got a few Oh guys sr20 i think is from texas mississipi couple cali ppl's
