Did Cadillac make a musclecar??

I did this sketch for a friend of mine- he has his own website with a section devoted to "Drawing Board". The concept was: "What if Cadillac made a musclecar in 1970?"

We have yet to get that section of the site fully rolling, but I would appreciate any feedback from you guys about the sketch. Thanks alot.

Re: Did Cadillac make a musclecar??

Really nice, except the rear wheel looks rushed. Like the styling tho and the overall nice clean look of it.

Re: Did Cadillac make a musclecar??

yeah, something bugs me about the wheels, too. It was an overlay, but without using ellipse templates either time.

i'm keeping the sketch around 'cause I'm thinking it might show well in a 3d model. (angular with clean lines, like you said)

After all, not everything has to be a diablo or an eclipse to be interesting, right?
I'm setting a new trend with 14's and skinny tires, Yo.

Re: Did Cadillac make a musclecar??

Great design--looks like what Caddie could have done if they had shared the early 70's Pontiac Grand Prix platform.

if u go to me and my dads site, www.schwartzperformance.com/cadillac.htm ... well that is a muscle car caddy... it originally came with a diesel engine, idk what size. Sure, we kind of made it into a musclecar, but its still cool anyways .. and nice drawing

Re: Did Cadillac make a musclecar??

i agree with blip it lookes like its based of the 68-72 Grand Prix/Monte Carlo platform. Another thing i would try is base a caddy muscle car off the 64-65 66-67 68-72 GM A bodies. i can only imagane what could be made up

Hi Rollin_on13s,

I think the sketching style is sweet.

Is that just regular color pencil.
