Re: Intake System Help

Get the cheaper ones...You save half the cost for the same tube that does the same thing

I've talked to SPS, you want an AEM intake and make sure u get a K&N filter on the end of that sucker. Kinda pricey but can u really put a price on seein a H22a in you rear view?

Personally, I like getting the name brand stuff (AEM). Go the extra dollar, your car deserves it. I am now only going to try to get something from ebay if i have to and can't find the part anywhere else for cheap. I have an ebay kit that is cold air that only cost $120; the only reason i got it is cuz i bought it a week after i bought my car and most of the money went to the down payment, but only have the short ram on cuz i couldn't get a jack to install the rest of the pipe (need to remove the left front tire to cut fender liner), but i will buy AEMs cold air setup in spring. If you get that, get the bypass valve just to be safe.

Re: Intake System Help

a 97?!... u could get an aem, or u could make yourself a custom one (better idea). injen sells intake piping thatz insulated, its great stuff. 3" & 4" tubing. couple that with a blitz power core filter (200 micron staneless steel filter..one of the best filters on the market!) and ur pretty set for your intake
