1990 f-150 4.9 4x2 to 4x4 conversion
 : Can I change my 4x2 to a 4x4? The tranny is a e4oda. Just figuring it could save me some $$$. Is this a change that could hurt the truck? The truck is geared at 3.55, what do I have to do and is there a complete changeover kit offered by any company? Websites? Any advice is good! cavf-150

It is possible but things to consider
1. parts cost 2. time to do it 3. the ability to curse 4. overall time and money what im trying to say is that it is possible but the money spent on parts would be enough to buy a better truck with four wheel drive. In the end it would just be a pain in the butt. Im sure Im leaving something out. I would save money and sell your current truck and get one with four wheel already.
