Seen it... guy I used to work with had this tribal with a gecko or some shit... just like a girl would get above her ass.

Trust me dude, don't get it on your lower back... The only acceptable time to do that is when you've run out of room everywhere else or it's an extension of a larger tattoo higher up.

Also, maybe something off to the side, kinda vertically over your kidney or something might be okay.

Unless you’re the front man for a rock band, it’s girly. IMHO. But don’t let that stop you, it’s your body, if you think it’s cool then do it. All my friends told me my belly ring was gay but I said "screw it I’m getting it!" That was in the mid 90’s, and it’s still there today.

Yo jay@af! Isn’t that the pic from the movie Red Dragon?

Your body do what you want. Personally I really don't care because it isn't my body.

Re: Your very own personal opinion!

Why would you want a tat on your back anyway? You cant even see it.

Whell what im thinking is that just like if a guy were to get a tattoo on what would be a bikini line, where a lot of girls put them, one on the lower back seems to be done predominantly by girls.

Re: Your very own personal opinion!

I think if it's centered with some sort of fairy or butterfly design, then it's girly... but it's the content that makes it girly mostly. My cousin has this cool sun-design thing that is pretty much right above his left butt-cheek, and it doesn't look girly at all.

1 e-cookie to the first person who can tell me the title of the movie where a man has "Jesus Is Coming" across his lower back.
