Where to Get serviced in England?
I got A 1996 Fleetwood Brougham from a bankrupt Limousine Company, It isn't stretched, and I have had the car for 6 months now. It is an awsome car and gets alot of looks on UK Roads as thre are very few European cars that match it' size. However the Time has come for it to be serviced. I live in Luton England where GM Make Vauxhall Cars (Very Similar to Saturns) and The Daewoo head office has Just been changed to Chevrolet UK. Now Will A Vauxhall Dealer be able to service the Caddy, as it is a GM and has the Same 5.7V8 As the Corvette?, The only Chevrolet Sold here at the moment. If they wont service it, where shall I go?

Local garage. If not then do it yourself. Good luck finding parts.

Well, I dont think they will be impossible to find, as practically every Limousine here after a Town car is A Fleetwood, so they must get there parts somewhere. I am dreading it ever failing it's MOT, Though I must admit It has allways been reliable, During the Service What parts need to be replaced that I may need to get and Are there any UK Cars from GM That are on the Caprice/Roadmaster/Fleetwood, I know our Vauxhall Omega is virtually exactly the same as the Cadillac Catera. I will check a Local garage anyhow and see what they say, but any more advice will really be appreciated

Re: Where to Get serviced in England?
It depends on the servicing required. There is nothing unusual about most of the systems. Items like brakes, suspension, tune ups, oil and grease are very straightforward. Otherwise, these cars need little maintenance and could be easily handled by a local garage.
Parts are easy to buy on-line, many parts suppliers would be happy to ship to you by courier The only problem would be any major repairs. Fortunately, major components have a long lifespan, but who knows what kind of abuse the car suffered in the past. For that kind of work, I would suggest talking to the limo companies and see who does their servicing. |
