Performance upgrades for 95 z34?
I've got a 95 z34 with the 3.4L DOHC V6, and I was wondering if there is any particular method to increase performance. I've already installed a dual exhaust system and cold air intake, I was thinking about installing an ECU upgrade, but i can't find any. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to push a few more ponies out of it? Thanks.

Re: Performance upgrades for 95 z34?
did you search google or anything for ecu upgrades? I would think you'd be able to find something online for it

Re: Performance upgrades for 95 z34?
yeah i've searched everywhere and i've only found ECUs for camaros and firebirds with a 3.4L, and 80's montes. I've called places and they said i would have to send my entire ECM in and have it reprogrammed, which would leave me without a car for a few weeks
perhaps i should look into a ECM reprogrammer?

I've seen people do that. They did things with a laptop that looked greek to me, but enhanced their car's performance. You could try, but it seems (at least from what I saw) that you really need to know what you're doing.

I have a IAT Sensor bipass that adds about 20 horsepower. I was on Ebay and found it. I could really tell the difference once i put it in.

What kind of intake is it, ive been looking for a 96 z34 and can not find anything bc the motor is set in there sideways which really limits performance products

Anybody looking for extra 3.4L DOHC performance, check out http://www.fastfwdperformance.com/
The guy who programs the chips for our cars is a moderator over at 60degreeV6.com, and several members from w-body.com swear by them. They also sell a billet dogbone (engine mount) with polyurethane bushings, that is supposed to stop the engine from moving so much in the engine bay, thereby transferring more usable torque to the wheels.
