Supercharging a '91 Buick Regal Limited 3.8Litre
Assuming i could get ahold of a supercharger for my buick, how difficult would the installation be for me? I do have more than average knowledge about cars and how engines work, and work very well with my hands.
What things would supercharging my buick entail? would i have to have it tuned to work properly, or make modifications to the CPU (also not a problem, i have a lot of experience working with home computers and electronics)? Furthermore, would weather such as snow and heavy rain effect the engine in any way, I will most likely have to cut a hole in my hood (which i have no problem with) to allow the supercharger to fit. Thanks!

it would be easier to just swap in a 3800 Series I supercharged motor from an early Bonneville SSEi or Riviera SC. That way you get a block thats built for the boost and you don't have to tear your engine apart.

I would look for a series II or go to www.3800performance.com. They make turbo kits for 3800's for I think around $3000
