Lightbulb 1st gen Rodeo rear speakers!

Okay, call it weird, but my 1993 Isuzu Rodeo NEVER came with the OEM rear speakers. I see the speaker wires though. So for those that didn't have the OEM funky square rear speakers...what else is my option for installing rear speakers?

Re: 1st gen Rodeo rear speakers!

That is the first place I always check regarding audio....I was actually talking about the speaker housing in the rear of my 93 Rodeo...the dealer never installed one...now I have no idea where to get one...I checked Ebay with no luck.

Re: 1st gen Rodeo rear speakers!

Rear speakers should only produce mid and low tones. Your front speakers should be full range speakers. Now that I have that off my chest here is what I'll do.

1. head to www.car-parts.com and search for 93 rodeo stereo. See if there is anyone in your area with a slavage Rodeo and see if you can drive in to pick up the speaker holder. If not, email email email. Email a question and see if they have, and if so if they can ship it.

2. watch ebay. I see them pop up every couple of months.

3. Put some nice speakers up front with separate tweeters, and then get a small sub for the rear.

have at it!

You should post up some update pics on your project. It would give the 1st gen owners something to refer to....It would be cool. Nothing like a project to keep you busy....but when they come to life and no problems, its like a rush....good luck!
